low on quality, not what i expect from matco i bought this ratchet because of the longer handle and smooth action. have had nothing but problems with this ratchet. has broken on me 4 times in the last year and represenative has always taken weeks to get repair parts. very disappointing. i have had better luck with my long 1/4 drive ratchet from kodalt tools by lowes. Gotta love 88 tooth!! This ratchet is awesome!! Love the 88 tooth internals and the extended handle to increase leverage needed! Also bought the 3/8" drive for A&P school! January 8, 2013
Finally a 1/4 drive that won't bust knuckles! Love these 88 tooth ratchets smooth action in all situations beats all ratchets I've previously used. The long handle adds leverage for tough fasteners and give knuckles more clearance(cause who hasn't busted a knuckle using 1/4 drive). great tool for my collection The best part of this tool is the extended handle and the ratchet gear. The slimmer head doesn't help much depending on the work application because most good manufactures engines and machinery are engineered to be able to fit a ratchet in tight areas. The longer handle can get in the way sometimes because the area might of been engineered to use a standard 1/4 ratchet, so I would't make this my primary tool but its still an excellent ratchet. Best 1/4 ratchet in the industry!!!! This is my favorite 1/4 long ratchet of all time. I own quite a few ratchets from just about every tool brand and this is my go to 1/4 ratchet. This ratchet is perfect for timing belt covers on engines that have less than ideal space to remove them. The ratchet has a long body to get deep in the hard to reach areas and it's 88 tooth design is so fine you barely have to move the handle to get it to ratchet back and forth which is again ideal where you have no space to move. This ratchet doesn't disappoint! September 25, 2011
Only 1/4 I use I reach for this rather than the standard length, since ya never know how tight something might be right away. If you don't use air tools, its great for taking down splash shields, and checking air filters, since a lot of times they can be over tightened or rusted badly. November 7, 2011

this is a great ratchet As a motorcycle mechanic I use this ratchet all the time. It is excellent for tight cramped areas. the length gives you that extra torque when needed.I highly recommend this ratchet. December 1, 2011
