The best I'm still a student in school and my teacher has tons of snap-on stuff that's nice but I found a entry level position that work's around my schooling and needed a ratchet that would let me get more torque on bolts on a diesel I bought this off the matco guy's truck because i needed it asap and couldn't wait for delivery. i can say even though i didn't get the student discount through him my money was not wasted and this ratchet was probably the best tool purchase I have made in a long time i plan to buy one in 3/8 soon as i'm paid but this time i will use the site since this one has handled every thing i've thrown at it without missing a beat October 20, 2011
Low quality at a high price I bought this ratchet over the snap on because I have had too many problems with the two screws on the head of the ratchet coming loose. I should have just stuck with the snap on and dealt with checking the screws everytime I used it. I have used this ratchet a total of maybe 8 times and it's broke twice. The first time it broke it was 3 days old the drive snapped off the gears in the head. The second time maybe a month and a half old the teeth stripped in the head. If the head of the ratchet can't handle the torque from the 24" handle then dont put it on it. Good try Matco but I do believe yall failed at this one. This may be a decent ratchet for light duty trucks but not big trucks. April 2, 2012
Worst 1/2" ratchet I've owned I bought this ratchet about 4 months ago and it broke just the other day. I haven't applied much pressure to this ratchet and it aggravated me when it broke, so I bought a SnapOn to replace it. August 27, 2013
the bomb best breaker bar on the market , i bent a 02 sensor opps has allota torque and the narrow locking head is the best there is !! January 15, 2013
Great ratchet! High quality ratchet, locking mechanism is great for when you want to stay unlocked and have full range of head angle movement without having to worry about it popping back to locking like some competitors style. Strong internals and overall a quality tool. November 9, 2012
this ratchet is amazing two thumbs up I have owned this ratchet for almost a month. The flex head has come in handy on many occasions. And the locking device is exceptional. The extra long handel allows me to massive amounts of torque, to break lose even the tightest nuts and bolt. The 88 tooth gear allows a really smooth action. This ratchet is a must have. Excellent product for heavy duty use The features of this ratchet are excellent. The locking head is a must for most applications. The degree of turn is awesome for such a long handle in tight spaces. I work on oilfield equipment and it has never let me down. November 22, 2011
Awesome I bough this ratchet about a month ago and has yet to give me any trouble. the overall lengh of the tool makes it easier to break bolts loose that are on pretty tight. I do heavy duty diesel work and works great. October 23, 2011
