Rated 3 out of 5 by 88 tooth is better I recommend the 88 tooth. A guy I work with has the 88 tooth and It just has a better feel. the teeth in this ratchet seem a little sloppy compared to the 88 tooth or even a snap on. The locking flex is a great feature that way if you do need to do some hard turning your ratchet doesn't wobble up and down like most others. Overall a pretty decent ratchet, Just wish I would have bought the 88 tooth instead May 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by i love this one I absolute love this long ratchet its my very best friend for all kind of applications, especially on oil plugs, tranny plugs and differential plugs.... Its just handy whenever you need that extra torque it is the best ratchet i have...... NO more bleeding knuckles because of slip wrenches I use a socket w my extra long ratchet......... Rated 5 out of 5 by This is the ratchet you're looking for. This ratchet is amazing. The locking flex head really makes this perfect. You don't need extra extensions in some cases, allowing you to put more torque to what you need. My only caveat is that the flex head design on all of Matco's locking flex head ratchets needs to be slightly modified, in my opinion. The half-circle locking mechanism locks only on one corner of the half-circle. Instead, why not use that half-circle of the locking mechanism to push a spring-loaded notched key of some kind to fully engage the teeth on the head? I have had the heads wear out (on the 3/8" version) from the lock mechanism grinding away at the teeth, until no locking was possible. Still, this is very minor, and it took a couple of years for this issue to occur, and it was immediately replaced by my Matco representative with no questions asked. This is an awesome tool. Rated 5 out of 5 by best in the industry This ratchet feels good in your hand, locking head is awesome for off angles when you need to trust you wont swivel and bust your hands up. Also 88 tooth design is great for smaller area of rotation. all around the best 1/2 drive flex ratchet ever made. September 2, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by nice to use This ratchet just feels sturdy in your hand no matter if you are just holding it or trying to brake a stubborn bolt loose by pulling as hard as possible. The switches on it being recessed are also really nice because it won't get caught in tight spaces September 3, 2011

Rated 5 out of 5 by best all around ratchet this ratchet is absolutely the best. The locking flex head works great for angles that you need to apply excessive force to for tough bolts. October 24, 2011
