More hassle than non-electronic I got this less than 6 months ago and had to change the batteries already. I rarely use it, so that is a lot of battery it uses. I don't work at a shop, so if you do, you probably would have to change the batteries 4 times within a 6 month timeframe. When it works it works good, but I found mine to be glitchy. Specifically, it would change the torque settings that I had it set to. I noticed that the torque seemed a little more than what I set it to so I looked at the reading and it was set to 10ft lb. more than what I wanted! It is cool that you can see exactly how much pressure you are putting before reaching your actual torque, but its just not worth all the hassle of battery changing and glitching. Also, when it dies, it just dies all of a sudden. It has a battery life notification but when you think you have a little more battery life, you don't and it'll just die on you. Just get a normal one! February 3, 2013
very poor tool. nothing but problems from first time using have had fixed twice within 4 month period for same issue. January 12, 2012
Very accurate tool The ranging feature is very helpful when trying to acheive a target torque with going over. Also the auto shutdown feature helps save battery life! September 2, 2012
good wrench but needs lifetime warranty on the head. This torque wrench works perfectly and the angle meter performs flawlessly on all automotive torque to yield head bolts. The only problem that I have had with it is the ratchet head is a little sloppy. enough so that when I had used it about 250 time (according to the use meter built into it) the reverse and forward lever would jam and not allow it to move. I was able to fix this by sacrificing a cheap feeler gauge and shimming the innards so they would fit. I only wish Matco had a lifetime head on this torque wrench, if it did it would have gotten 5 satrs. September 8, 2011
user friendly I like the led lights that let you know how close your getting to the spec. torque. Works well overall. The only thing I don't like about it is how sensitive it is to being bumped on something while your using it in tight areas and then you have to wait for it to recalibrate. December 8, 2011
