Great for Mini Cooper hose clamps! I am a Mini Cooper technician and this works great for the hose clamps. The locking feature helps a lot and so does the length of the cable. Great tool! January 30, 2013

Save time and frustration on hard to reach hose clamps These things come in really handy with hard to reach hose clamps. Previously, I had cussed up a storm and scraped up the little prongs on some annoyingly placed clamps when trying to remove them and then re-install them.....now with these puppies, I just ratchet them down and maneuver the clamp off and on with my free hand. Best thing about them is not having to fit a set of pliers in to hard to reach places and once they are locked, the clamp is in your control. No longer do hose clamps control the outcome of my mood when working on cars/trucks :) January 7, 2012
it serves the purpose the product does work, however, the locking lever will not lock into its last position. In trying to do so, the teeth that lock in have been slightly rounded off. also, unlike the snap-on product that i have used from a co-worker, it does not have a stow and go feature, so the cable and clamps tend to get in the way in my drawer. like i said, it does serve its purpose but the engineering could have been better. Saves time. Had a coolant line on the back of the head on an isb cummins, if i would have had these it would have turned a half day job of removing the valve cover, all the air cleaning and routing hoses, and other brackets, to a 5 minute job. Reaches at any angle and fits everywhere, the last detent of the lock feature is difficult to lock and un-lock, but still performs well over any expactations, and a good time saving tool. 1 of the best tools i have ever bought I use these almost every day. They are great for getting the heater core hoses. I recommend these with a pair of the hose pinch pliers. September 8, 2011
