!WOW! What an improvement
At first I was a bit skeptical on if I should INVEST in this product. I based my decision on reviews online. Many of these techs are in dealerships and expect for this tool to do everything under the sun. When I was searching for my next scanner I looked for the features it would offer in my field of expertise. In this case it was symptom based diagnosis. I do not consider myself a very experience master tech even though I have been in the field for almost five years, but I do invest in tools that will give me the upper hand in the future. I am currently working on many Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeeps at this time and with the bi-directional functions that are offered with this scanner for Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep it is more than enough to get me through without buying the Chrysler OEM tool. I believe with this tool in my tool box I will have a upper hand in the future. A scanner with these features and functions can only get better in the future just like many OEM tools they come up with updates to improve in most cases, it is only up from here. I believe this is the best bang for the buck at this point in time.

Seemed great at first
Purchased the scanner. Had problems all the time, always froze up on me when i hit the freeze frame. I just leave batteries out now due to it constantly freezing. Sounded like a good deal, really wanted the bi directional features, been over a year now, still only had 1 update which dont think it changed much besides how it displayed the codes. Tryed to use on a honda, only had generic functions, wasnt to impressed. Other then that, for a diy is a good scanner but to actually make some money as a proffessional, i was not impressed

great scan tool
I have had this scan tool for about a year now and I love it. it has work for everything I have needed it for. I have used more expensive scan tools in the past like the snap on ethos an this scan tool for the price can't be beat. I have had it lock up on me one time but it was because the key was cycled while it was scanning the ecu other then that I have never had any problems with mine

great company and service.
scan tool is great. been a professional tech. at dealerships for entire time so far (about 8 yrs so far) and have much experience with factory oem scan tools. and i gotta say sometimes it takes so long to just get engine fault codes with the factory scanner. this thing pulls up the codes quickly, freeze frame date and emissions readiness. might be surprised factory scanners wont pull up the right p codes sometimes. generic scan tool is always right. talked to the folks that make this and heard bi-directional control, and more asian vehicle, and even euro cars are going to be added in the first quarter of 2013. cant wait for the update. the folks are very professional.

Big Help to me
Ive had this tool for about a week now and have been using it on all kinds of vehicles. I can get info in all the modules in vehicles including ABS/SRS on American vehicles. This thing is easy to use has a nice sturdy plastic case and can do a lot more than just your average code reader. The info it delivers is very useful as well. It is great to use on the many side jobs I do on the weekend too. Im glad I purchased it.

Perfect Working and Does the diagnosing fast
Not sure why people were reviewing this badly? Not one complaint against it, my friends are dying with jealousy and i love using it. It does everything matco says it does as advertised with ease. It can show important live data, freeze frame, shows codes and in which order of importance and so much more. It comes with really simple setup instructions and nice software to add. People are out of there mind if they think this is a bad scanner, get it and you wont be disappointed!

Product reads data well and wide coverage
When using product it does lock up and must remove battery to unlock it. Also noticed it does not read oxygen sensor data for GM vehicles. It did not work for a 95 and older ford vehicle. Other than that the product has many desirable features and lines of data that are very desirable.
