ENHANCED SCAN ADVISOR
Seemed great at first
Purchased the scanner. Had problems all the time, always froze up on me when i hit the freeze frame. I just leave batteries out now due to it constantly freezing. Sounded like a good deal, really wanted the bi directional features, been over a year now, still only had 1 update which dont think it changed much besides how it displayed the codes. Tryed to use on a honda, only had generic functions, wasnt to impressed. Other then that, for a diy is a good scanner but to actually make some money as a proffessional, i was not impressed

Great all around
The tool connects flawlessly to all the domestic cars that I have linked to. It is the first tool I pick up when I have a SRS or ABS light that comes in for repair. It does have a lot of really good features. The updates on this tool will only make it better.

Excellent diagnostic tool for the small investment
So far this is a very easy to use product. I didn't even read the instructions very well before i used it. And also i work on heavy equipment and industrial generators. But we do work on the company vehicles which are both gasoline and medium duty diesel trucks. So this has come in very handy around the shop and for side work. I have not used this scan tool on any asian vehicles yet. But so far this is the best tool on the market for the money. Especially for those of us who have the knowledge to work on modern obd2 vehcles but don't work in a automoblie service shop. It is great investment over the more pricier competitors. I would recommend this product to anyone who at the novice level to intermediate levels. If you are at the expert level then you need a scan tool that is capable of doing more. I hope this review helps those of you just considering buying this product to buying it. You won't be disappointed.

Good, but not Great
Bought this Scanner when it first came out. Kind of started off on the wrong foot when they don't tell you the OBD 1 doesn't work for my old 95 Saturn, which was a big part of why I bought it. (it lists Geo, Nova, Saturn And Sprint as incompatible cars INSIDE the owners manual on page 131)
It does freeze up once in awhile, but got used to it. It does get huge amounts of information on most domestic cars, although the odd time goes into global OBD 2 mode, which turns the scanner into a generic scanner.
I've also noticed it doesn't like certain import car companies, which can be frustrating. I also own the MD1052, and compared to that, this tool doesn't hold its water, as the MD1052 does everything it claims, All the time, and was half the price of the MD1072. Much better bang for the Buck I think

great scan tool
I have had this scan tool for about a year now and I love it. it has work for everything I have needed it for. I have used more expensive scan tools in the past like the snap on ethos an this scan tool for the price can't be beat. I have had it lock up on me one time but it was because the key was cycled while it was scanning the ecu other then that I have never had any problems with mine

!WOW! What an improvement
At first I was a bit skeptical on if I should INVEST in this product. I based my decision on reviews online. Many of these techs are in dealerships and expect for this tool to do everything under the sun. When I was searching for my next scanner I looked for the features it would offer in my field of expertise. In this case it was symptom based diagnosis. I do not consider myself a very experience master tech even though I have been in the field for almost five years, but I do invest in tools that will give me the upper hand in the future. I am currently working on many Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeeps at this time and with the bi-directional functions that are offered with this scanner for Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep it is more than enough to get me through without buying the Chrysler OEM tool. I believe with this tool in my tool box I will have a upper hand in the future. A scanner with these features and functions can only get better in the future just like many OEM tools they come up with updates to improve in most cases, it is only up from here. I believe this is the best bang for the buck at this point in time.

Product does not meet expectations.
I have had this product for about 3 weeks and it does not do what it claims. I have hooked it to several vehicles and it does not have the right engine size for them and i went as trying the year before and after and it still does not have it.
