broke good hand feel, nice variable trigger, average weight. thought the collar reverse was a great idea, and it did solve the oh no moment when you back a bolt out a bit too far and trap the ratchet head. but the head is a bit wide and doesn't fit in some spaces you would expect it to. i the trigger section also started to spin on me within a month and i fought that until the reversible collar gears shredded. had another tool guy stroking me the second it happened, bought a different brand and have not tried to warranty this product yet. i would not recommend this air ratchet, no matter what an air tool should last more than three months. buy one!!! Had this for about one month now. No problems yet. Seems to be very well constructed, and solid. Nice torque, not too much for a 3/8" air ratchet, but enough for most applications. But the the best part is the collar. Gloves on, no problem changing direction, and without a doubt the most user friendly 3/8" air ratchet. No more fiddling with the head to switch direction! I waited for it to go on sale , and I am extremely happy with this purchase. May 11, 2013
It has power design and durability I got this and it works better than a snap on 3/8 I always had to borrow. Not only does the power outstrip it but the feel is just more comfortable. I've used this tool and had to drop it 4 or so feet off the ground in order grab parts. The collar idea is perfect as well I love the functionality in tight spaces. After 3 months it looks better than ever and works just as good as when I bought it. August 6, 2012
I absolutely adore this tool! Matco/Ingersoll Rand sell many great quality air tools. This particular one is the best 3/8 air ratchet I've ever seen, bought, or even used. The variable airflow dial, the forward/reverse collar, the adjustable exhaust port, the power, the torque, and even the looks of this tool are just like no other! Don't cheap out on something less than this! And don't spend much much more on that loud, bulky, eventually becomes weak, non-composite snap on 3/8 air ratchet. Give this one a shot! I only just saw this ratchet on the matco tool truck and spur of the moment traded in my perfectly good and functioning air ratchet for this one....and I don't regret anything about it! comfortable, great access, smooth, durrable i like this air ratchet very much. the slimmer head is great for tight spaces like for exhaust manifold bolts. it has plenty of power and is very quiet. March 9, 2012
