Matco Tools race teams continue to dominate
the NHRA proffessional categories leading three
of the four pro categories.
•Melanie Troxel continues to lead the Top Fuel points
with wins in Pomona, Las Vegas and runner ups in Houston,
Phoenix and Gainesville.
•Ron Capps in Funny Car also leads the points with wins
in Gainesville and Houston.
•Angelle Sampey leads the points in Pro Stock Motorcycle
with back to back wins in Gainesville, and Houston.
The Matco Tools Iron Eagle of Whit Bazemore turned
the performance corner in Vegas with and outstanding
effort and race win against John Force in the second
round of competion. We look for huge performance
strides from the team in the future.
