Long term use has diasapointedI bought full sets of SAE and Metric long handled Matco wrenches. They are not cheap and show it in the strength and slim construction. But as I have use these wrenches I have become frustrated with both the steps in the open end and the 12 point box end. The fancy design of the box end is meant to aid in removing stripped or worn fasteners, but on many occasions I have found that they strip a bolt head or nut when I have been unable to get a perfect purchase on them. This leaves the bolt head partially rounded and then the wrench fails to grab it all together. Most times though I can use one f my old Craftsman wrenches of the same size to finish the job with ease. Also I have found that the steps in the open end of the wrench will get stuck on a dirty or partially damaged fastener which leaves the wrench wedged in place. Sometime you can simply wiggle the wrench side to side, but I have had to use a hammer and punch to knock it loose more than once. Again an old fashioned wrench with less or no steps in the jaws works much better in those cases. In any case I am disappointed and will be looking for different sets to replace my wrenches.

Great BuyBought this for my automotive class and these have not let me down. Appearance wise they are well crafted and thick gauge though still light
