Just the correct lengthI have kept telling myself that I needed something more than just a 6 inch long ratchet but always forgot about it when purchasing tools. Now that I have purchased one I kick myself for not having done this earlier. As silly as it sounds this has saved me enormous time working on little items that my fats hands always seemed too make difficult. Now I don't cut my hands like I use to. The extra length prevents me from accidentally changing the direction when working.

Great ratchet for a very specific jobI bought this ratchet to replace a 12 inch flex head Ez Red ratchet that I keep breaking on a regular basis. I only use this ratchet to remove backing plates on CCC and Autocar spindles. It’s super strong and long enough to keep my knuckles clear of the backing plates so as not to cut my fingers. It’s not for everybody but in those tight places it’s indispensable.
