Most Used Tool
I pick up this ratchet at least 15 times per day. It is, and most likely will always be my most used tool. While beating on this tool for nearly a full year, I have had this ratchet rebuilt once. A few teeth on the pawl sheered causing the failure and the ratchet only acted up and clicked intermittently. My dealer fixed the problem in a matter of minutes. There are two features of this tool that set it apart from the competition. The first is the thickness of the head. I can fit this ratchet in places that a 3/8 ratchet shouldn't be able to fit. KoonTrucking on Youtube had a great comparison video of this line of ratchets compared to other similar ratchets. The second feature, and my most favorite, is the locking flex-head. I like how when it's unlocked, it somewhat stays in position instead of flopping around or staying completely locked in position. Overall, would buy again and am currently looking into replacing my other ratchets with Matco locking flex head ratchets.

Best ratchet on the market
This is the best hand ratchet I've ever used hands down. Its slim profile lets you get into some tight places and under dashes, and at 12" in length you have better leverage over most ratchets, while still being able to get it into places. The locking feature is an absolute must have for a flexhead ratchet, and it has very little resistance in the head, must less than a Snap-on, which makes it a lot easier to work out a bolt that's just barely too tight for unthreading by finger but too loose for most ratchets.

Almost perfect
I love this ratchet. It has the best locking flex head and the best grip of any ratchet I’ve ever felt. I wasn’t even looking for a comfort grip ratchet, but as soon as I felt one, I had to have it. My only complaint is how far the head pivots back. I often like to break bolts loose and then pivot the head ~90 degrees and use the ratchet like a speed wrench. The head on these pivots so far that it makes this awkward. If you rarely or never use a ratchet like that, I can’t imagine you’d have any complaints.

Excellent ratchet. I absolutely love it. Only complaint, or maybe suggestion rather, would be to add a quick release feature. Otherwise, perfect
Great ratchet. I've had snap on ratchets, Cornwell etc and i like matco more. The only issue I have is I wish it had a quick release option. Otherwise, flawless ratchet. I use it every single day and my matco guy is the bomb, snap on and others won't warranty a ratchet if the soft handle messes up like if it gets soaked in brake fluid or something. My matco guy will, so that's why I use him more. Definitely recommend this ratchet

My favorite ratchet
I own just about every tool truck brand ratchet from fixed head to locking flex head. This Matco ratchet is my favorite due to thin profile head an lock mechanism for flex head. Both offer max clearance when I need it most. Also, the ratchet mechanism is smooth with a low swing arc! Nice ratchet! I also own several of the quarter inch drive versions and converted them to 3/8" drive for even greater clearance!

The go-to ratchet
I own both Mac locking flex head and Snap-on locking flex head, Both are really nice ratchets but the Matco is my favorite go to for these simple reasons- Smaller head enabling me to get to tight spots, Simplicity of the locking mechanism- Recessed and detent features and the overall quality and beauty of the black chrome! It just doesn’t get better than this!

An everyday ratchet.
I use this ratchet daily. From oil changes to small/medium engine work, it continues to live as my go-to ratchet on my tool cart. Tight space? The flexing mechanism has you covered. Working on Subaru spark plugs? The length on the ratchet along with the locking flex makes it that much easier. Thanks Matco!
